Went out to Lucerne with Metcho (vcyota92) and Los (Gimme Sand) and Darren to break in metcho's new motor of 1445. We put a good 70- 80 miles on the race truck and my truck. Metcho was even awesome enough to let all of us take his truck for a hot lap. It's like driving a bass boat. You see the choppy water in front of you but you don't feel shit lol. Steering has Zero feed back you just hold the wheel and point the truck were you want go. Epic!

Anyway like I said 70 ish more dirt miles on my truck. We did a full lap around course. You can ask GimmeSand truck takes a licking and keeps on kicking. Beat the piss out of it and drives straight as an arrow going 75 down the highway on the way home.

On the way out rain X for the win! It started dumping on us leaving Ventura. My pile has no wipers lol we couldn't see a damn thing! rainx'd window and we were good to go
Also picked up a new radio Antenna from PCI those guys are awesome! Radio works bitchin with ant cut to the correct length.

ICEHOUSE ( shit sucks) and HIGH GRAVITY 211 Steel Reserve and some Wild Turkey acted as my blanket in the 29 degree weather. The next morning sucked pretty bad lol

Glamis 2011

Put another 250 miles or so in the sand/desert with no issues. Never even got myself stuck. Jumped it a few times was pretty conservative as I had to drive it home too

Max took a video of my truck jumping other than that nothing but onboard footage as far as i know. My front is a little too soft right now and the rear is too stiff. Onboard video doesnt really do anything any justice I just had it so I posted it.

Took a quick trip out to Barstow this weekend. Had a great time. Put another 50 or 60 miles on the truck with no issues. Didn't get any action shots. Probably should have partied less and driven more but what can you do.

I finally painted/installed the new hood and scored some new belts from Poly Performance. Purple! They look rad still need to install shoulder straps.
Need to get the skid plate on there and mount my CO2 tank in the bed.

Welp it's time to take the governor off... Metcho and I were talking about how the rear end of my truck working like crap still. He's asked hey did you get new limit straps when we finished your truck with the 16inch SAWs ? NOPE same straps same tabs as the tampon shocks. Total fail on my part, just something that got overlooked. So I figure Ill be will be scoring a few inches ( Thats what she said) of travel. Watch your MIRRORS! LOL

Got the Co2 Mounted need to make a tab off the bed cage that bolts to the back of the mount.
Decided to install it on that side as the battery and gas filler are over there already

Thanks Scott.. yea that corner of the bed is a bit of a fail with the filler neck and battery.

New limit straps showed up with a quickness as always thanks to Tommy at Poly Performance!
Gunna get those bad boys installed tonight along with some other things.

oh yea I mentioned new purple belts (don't mind my haggard seats getting those redone soon)

Going to be installing one of these also for good measure. I found it in the storage room at the office.

Last night got new limit straps on,
corner lights in
Co2/nitrogen tank hold down finished up and painted
oil changed
tires changed around
fire extinguisher mounted up
tools ready to go

Had to get a little custom on the and flip shock and reroute the resi hose due to the larger tank

Another successful run for the Desert Mouse. Took it fairly easy due to the amount of trucks we had with us ( 14) and also due to the amount of shit I was hauling. The new limit straps seemed to make rear work a bit better but tough to say with rear so sagged.

Olive's new seatbelt worked awesome too! Cant wait to get out there again!

Ejected the stock heater last night. Didn't work anyway. At some point going to install mojave heater or something similar.


After riding passenger in my truck I realize the lack of foot room. Pretty stoked on results. Need to plate a few holes and re route all the wiring.

Got more of the stock heater bullshit pulled out. Pre ran the passenger seat and I can stretch my legs out completely. Just need to patch one more hole in the firewall and I can button everything back up.

Also I have been trying to come up with something better to hold my camera instead of having my bag behind seat. I had this little triangle camera bag laying around im going to give it a go....
Should allow me to snap more photos with a quickness and be ready to roll again...

Sounds like a good run never heard of afton but it sounds mysterious haha. I wanted to do more runs in Barstow but nobody's trucks were up to par haha. Me and sean had a nice little run tho

Patched my hole in the dash yesterday.. It was pretty awesome driving around with it open it was like a wind tunnel on the freeway lol

Even gave it a little custom paint job.

Few Little updates..

Finally done with tieing all the wireing back up after removing stock heater. Next wiring adventure I am going to move all of those relays i think under the seat so they are out of the way and add a few swtiches for a few more things seat heaters for both sides for sure!

Moved the Dust light down to the rear bumper..I liked the other spot better but its always blocked by my tent cot. Making it basically worthless.

Pulled the worklight too... never use it and i want to be able to lay the tent cot flat over that cross member

Relabeled switch panel it was getting a little hammered

Yea rock lights are on my to do list as well. Really comes in handy. A lot of guys are running LEDs.

My truck came with some odd labelling as well. It had HIV1, HIV2, DGAF and RDNPO. I plan to do the same on the new dash for lots of confusion and LOLz.

I had nothing to do with any of those lol well maybe the DGAF switch

In other news... Started my battery box install the other night...going to be moving my filler neck a little bit adding a tab off of the CO2 mount. Which will allow me to move batteries closer to the bedside.
Looking into getting new shoes too might just bite the bullet from Tire shop and get them with the warranty. If any one has any newer 33x10.5x15 BFG ATs for sale hit me up.

Got my dirt bags in place last night.. should be nice having a little more storage for sun glasses, cell phone charge,etc

Another epic trip for the books.. laid down probably 80 miles or so. Rear is a night and day difference with the new pistons and valving. Truck is so much smoother. Huge thanks to Metcho and Scotty and Bob after I broke the hard line on the clutch and pissed out all the fluid. Once Scott got there with the 8 inch piece of new line truck was back in business in no time....

Motiracer and I both ran outta talent in this sand wash. And the winch works like a champ.

Moti and I got pitted and climbed this gnarly mountain. super rocky with a few wash outs on the road made for interesting way up and back down.

Started to work on mounting my bass boat seats I need to get the tent cot up there to see how far in the seats can come in and how much they are gunna need to come up. . Should have it wrapped up with next week at some point.

Just got the base plates and the mounts done. Gotta sort out the how exactly i want to mount them.

What a rad weekend!

Way back was alot slower Los and Melissa cruised along with mikey and I

Ten Miles outta primm we could still see Buffalo bills...

Los Cruised down like a baus and pulled her back... with some spotting and skinny pedal got her out and up the hill

KW chillin at the top apparently got harassed by a couple of wild donkeys lol so was sitting on the roof of the truck

We start to go again mikey is out in front I come up over the hill to see mikey like this ( los' Photo)

Locked the Hubs 4x4 on 37s bro... Three wheels the shit out of it Then I managed to safely spotted him up.

This was all like 15 miles in lol

Then we really started shredding! Kayla and I had the hammered dropped getting pitted following mikey we hear a big as rock hit the under side of the truck. Have one of those Oh fawkkkk are we okay moments... im like hmm everything seems cool? keep going another 5 miles to a road crossing mikey pulled up i was like okay im just gunna check and make sure everything is cool. look under truck and see fluid all over the damn place...thinking fawk... i have a whole in my tank... I crawl under truck to see the Gas tank drain plug is leaking? wtf no its the extended brake line is cut in almost all the way through. its brake fluid all over the place.. NBD nothing a little vise grips and zip ties and tape cant fix.

Topped up the Brake fluid. quick check to make sure I could still stop lol. Proceeded on. This was probably 45 miles in. Quick 20 mins fix left me with no rear brakes for rest of the way haha.


Go another 20 miles or so..... in this sandy wash doing about 55- 60 ....Didnt even notice the flat just kinda got a weird feeling pulled off. To take a knee and take a quick photo.

Nice brand new tire.... Next time ill get a newer new tire for prep purposes

Changed that puppy out in 15 mins or so....

Went another 10 miles and notice mikey's bronco had a coolant leak coming from the water pump.... decided to run it. we finish up the trail with a little victory meal at barstow del

Added a little water to mikey's radiator 2 gallons ish lol at barstow Del.

Then had to stop once on the way home as the leak was getting worse. Got home at 11:00pm left vegas at 10 am lol

Epic Trip about 200 miles in the dirt... And an awesome time in Vegas.

New brake line and a spare brake line already ordered from TC .... more update to come. stay tuned.....

Well had another solid trip this weekend Barstow to Cal City....


Stoked on the bass boat seats..... tent cot made a perfect table for enjoying breakfast nachos

Kayla got some seat time as I finally sanded the seat sliders down a little bit so they slide a bit.

First Trip with the Intercom set up too need to get a few bugs worked out but man. It was so nice. so much less noise to deal with no yelling back and forth to talk.

Anyway tore into truck tonight... Radiator has a small leak in the top corner that stevyboy spotted.
So got that pulled and going to take it to the radiator shop tmw get that handled.

Going to replace belts while I'm in there also change oil/diff/trans.

Ton of other crap to do on my prep list.

Fixed the 3.5mm plug so now with the music going you cant even hear it lol so kinda... I tried moving the ground a few different spots still same noise issue. Im going to get the part from PCI I think its only $40

Last week we ran Mojave Road. Zeros issues except sacked out leaf springs and a blown head like bulb. The Trail was fun we changed it up a bit added some more miles Had to run with a bike in the back. Still managed to send it a few times
