I just recently picked up a rzr xp1000 I wanted to get somthing I can take out and not worry about always being a project simply because I have maxed out the space I have and I'm only 19 but this is my first one I've owned and I was wondering what people do to prep there toys for the desert season and what people pack for just day trips I keep my 4Runner full of tools and fluids so I can use that to recover if I end up breaking down on the trail but I'd also like to keep some tools in the rzr so what are yall doing for storage because there's not to much room on the 2 seater especially and what tools specifically for rzrs do yall recommend to keep on hand I've got a belt replacing kit but anything else?

Not much of a SxS guy but a few ideas for you.

Tool rolls are handy- have the sizes needed for standard stuff (axles, tie rods, belt change, etc)
Belt and tools to change it
Spare axle is good to have on hand or keep in the truck- break often

I know some companies make some cool kits that either enclose the bed area for secure trunk space, or make mounts for packout style deals. Or tool bags and secure them inside the bed.

You can't deny the RZR fun factor. Just need to bring some soul and don't trash the land and blast music I don't like (wear Rugged headsets). I started with a Rhino, have a Turbo S still and say grow your bag and tool roll as you work on it. A small metric specific socket set will do but have a 19 for your wheels and the spline key if needed. Lots of Torq bits. T40 for the panels. Ironically 1/4-20 for the clutch. I keep random bolts, tow strap, fuel siphon hose (try not to carry gas) cheap air compressor and plug kit. Spare belt but I don't go thru them, even at the dunes.
