Thomas built motorsports 07 Ranger

I feel your pain right now lmao. Currently nuts deep in paneling the interior myself. Looks good dude!

I personally think 40's look big on a Ranger... but I could be envious. Probably helps with front end clearance in two track tho...

Definitely envious of your welding skills. That's not even questionable.hahah.

This thing is gonna rip! But I’m confused how the harness mount bolts on? What does it bolt to, and why not just weld it on?
it’s a combination of a few things. I’d already sealed up the floor, so my laziness took over

That area of the floor is where the stock seat belts bolt in, it’s extra thick so it made a good landing pad. The mounts aren’t removable it was literally to index them

Center console is almost useless. Good tunnel for wiring, more of an arm rest than anything

This was fun. Machined/Cut the splined shaft off the column carefully on the lathe, then machined it and an extension piece to lengthen the steering shaft 4 inches since I moved the seats back again.

Made an internal bar to fixture for welding, all said and done It has less than .005” runout when chucked in the lathe

That’s all it’s about. The holes are just getting bigger.

It’s also getting harder to find takeoff 37s, 40s are a dime a dozen. I get these for dirt cheap.

someone was telling me that 42's are being tested/used more now?? Someone make it stop. LOL

PS> never noticed you made an aluminum hat for the spare. small details, love it.
