Have you messed with these engines before? I had to google them and it seems like they were also used by jaguar, hence your trans choice I’m assuming for a rwd setup?
Pretty cool, and seems like they are way better than a lot of other smallish v6’s. the trannies hold up well?

ya i have been having a good time with them for years.
the 2000 taurus motor and m90 supercharger served me well in my old courier truck.
my montero has the gen 2 (ford escape) vvt with turbo as will this build.
the hp26 has been great. no troubles at all

Is it crazy to have the engine forward this far so I don't have to cut the firewall for the rear water ports?

Dam this might actually work pretty well.
Heater core hose are very close to the rear water pump.
i am thinking about a square radiator on the drivers side as that's the direction of the coolant hoses and then the intercooler on the passenger which is the turbo side.
left and right VS having double stack of them centered up.

Factory trans tunnel works with the assembly forward as it is
yoke is right where the shifter used to be. lol
