Do you have any vehicles that you got rid of and regret doing so? Share the ones that got away!

I have a few regrets, especially seeing what they're worth now but my only regret i wish i still had was the Long Weiney my double cab tacoma.

Vehicles I owned and wish i didn't sell were the following with what i bought and sold them for.

69 f250 crew cab, bought 900, sold 3500
64 GMC C10 Short Bed, Bought 1300, sold 2500
2000 BMW M5 Bought 9K sold 9600
2006 Ram 3500 Megacab, bought 21K sold for 18K

I daily drove this truck for 12 years.

I did a lot of work to it. All colour matched, two tone katzkin leather, goodmark cowl hood, warmed up 5.3, etc etc.

The last 18 months of owning it, the mechanical and body rot got to be more than I cared to invest in or deal with.

I'll pick up another rcsb one day.

100% feel this one. I miss both these trucks. but the black one hurts a bit more. It was my dream truck for years, and still is. The problem is it didnt check the boxes i wanted, and i was frustrated with it and going through a rough patch after some health issues. Such a cool truck.

I have a couple

I bought this ‘95 GMC with 35k miles on it. 454 truck, this thing was absolutely pristine, Utah and California truck was super clean. Ultimately I got tired of the extended cab with no third door and decided if I could get out of it what I wanted I’d sell it and somebody scooped it up. Such an old man truck but I have a soft spot for those “cowboy cadillac” trucks

The second one I really miss is this ‘79 F250 I had, friend I bought it from had it built for truck pulling. Had a boat load of power and rode like a log wagon but it was a fun truck

Had a 521 BBF w ~700hp at the crank with a big C&S aerosol carb on it, 4 speed manual

I’ve owned a lot of trucks since I got my license and this is the only one I regret selling. Bought it off Chris Isenhouer late one night in 2012. My dream truck for a prerunner, an obs single cab F150. All the potential in the world, I should have kept this and put all the money I put into my tundra in this truck. Work and life and living situation at the time dictated what I needed to own and drive and this thing had to go and was replaced with my tundra in stock form. I built the bumpers, installed some Ashley style Autofab front fenders, maaco paint job, and put the Hella’s on and sold it within a week of buying the tundra. Suspension was camburg coil buckets with fox 10” smoothies, camburg radius arms, and drop down brackets for the stock beams.
Makes me sick to my stomach to think about how cheap these trucks were 10 years ago versus now. Mind blowing.
