Sequoia Prelander build update

We have not been to Oceano for about 10 years, glad they are opening more of it these days.

Mid-week summer trips are the best.
 
Yeah I grew up in Orcutt, and my family still all live there. Pismo was awesome but I moved to Lucerne Valley since Pismo is too small and I love the desert. Pismo was great going to it in high school and everything but yes the area is awesome for weather and living, just too far for me personally from the desert and LA/Customers.
 
But it's perfect for group gatherings during those hot desert summer days. Who doesn't want to chill by the beach and off road a bit at the same time.
 
What shocks and suspension do you have on your tree? I have an 04 with bilstein ride height adjustables and SPC uca's up front. Rear has Eibach springs and bilstein shocks. Works awesome. I blew up front diff down in baja but no problems besides that and a rattling front upper shock mount on passenger side

It is a 07 with Solo Motorsports Upper control arms, Carbon Shock Technologies 3" to 5" adjustable fronts set to right about 3" no preload and resis. rear are carbon as well i believe they are extended travel. OPT Off Road upper and lower trailing arm pre production kit. the fabrication was done by Sebastian @ Big Stiffy Metalworks. knock on wood everything is working amazing.
 
I just moved up to Santa Maria 2 months ago and literally know nobody. I am kinda missing the socal off road community. I don't really see one up here
 
same boat ish. came from santa barbara so not too far off but just bought a house and had a kid so the last 6 months been a bit of a whirl wind. know a couple guys in the area but have had a moment to reach out
 
Yeah not too many prerunner guys in Orcutt/Santa Maria. My brother is in Orcutt by Righetti HS and has an 01 Silverado I built with him many years ago. Front LT kit, Deavers, bypasses etc. Most of my friends that had prerunners and that I helped build over the years and from back in high school have sold them and started families and got away from prerunners.

i know anthony. hes just been a bit on the quiet side recently. is the silverado a double cab? if so i think iv seen him around
 
White 01 Extra cab. 37s my OG TT Motorsports LT kit. C85 Deavers with rear bypasses and GM 14 bolt full floater out back. Stock rear bumper and tailgate still. He doesn't drive it much.
