KOH aftermath cleanup started today. Pulled the drivers front side apart to fix the CV boot and give everything a once over. It all looks good, no cracks or worn out pivot parts. Shock probably need to come off this summer for a prep/rebuild. It’s been 5 years.
The CV boots installed on both sides. I’m trying a little lower ride height in the front. Let’s see how that does. The V8 swap did not bring the front end down at all.
CV work makes a colossal mess and the grease gets on everything!!
I’ll work on the little things I didn’t get too before KOH and prep it for Mojave Road with the boy in about a month.
Goodbye Toyota LSPV, hello Willwood manual adjustable proportioning valve. The brake line doesn’t rub on the fuel tank now. It will be nice to be able to adjust the brakes now. As it sat before, there was way too much pressure to the rear and they locked pretty easy.
