Overall this thing fucking killed it. Drove the piss out of it day and night and only had some minor issues that were easy fixes. Stock 3.55 gearing wasn’t ideal but it still felt good on power. But I’m on the hunt for a complete 9” and d44 diff that have 4.10 or 4.56 gears. Also ordered a manual shift controller because I quickly found out how hard it is to hold a gear in whoops

Poor rear fiberglass took a beating lol. Not too mad about the inner fender wells and will end up cutting both sides out anyways

Fire extinguisher fell out of the mount and beat up the sub 🥲 the pin fell out too so I’m just glad it didnt spray everywhere haha

This weekend plans:
- finish / paint steering
- re do breather hoses for PCV
- bolt check / paint mark
- finish crossmember support bar
- coolant reservoir mount fix
- soundbar remount
- go log some more dirt miles 🍻

Past couple of weeks have been fun with the Xj.

Ran out to Mescal, az. 70 ish miles round trip on dirt.

Flexed it out. Funny how much worse ttb does at flexing than a solid axle. This isn’t full droop but close

Last weekend did a day trip out behind redington. About 40 miles outside tucson theres an old house built into the side of a canyon wall. Called Redfield Canyon House; it’s really well preserved since its a tough destination to reach. About 3.5 mile hike round trip and definitely worth to effort
