just installed the hobbywing Brushless esc combo motor in the honcho.

swapped in a new Servo for the Bomber. looking at getting a new motor ESC for bomber soon. Want to get something that will make it crawl a bit better.

clean up this shit show while I was in there .

The best thing I’ve done on mine is a +6mm brass or aluminum axle set, with overdrive front gears and a good steering servo. I have the OGRC brand from amazon if you can find them, absolutely no complaints and it was a complete game changer for how these things turn and drive

Most are shelf queens, light duty use. I enjoy the build and tinkering on them here and there.

Look into Latrax. They are made by Traxxas but are a little more budget friendly. They are small(er) though. 1/18 scale. They come RTR with a charger. I have the prerunner truck and it rips. paid $120 for it. Not a ton of aftermarket stuff for them yet, but they claim they have a whole line of parts coming out soon. I posted mine in here a few pages back.

best car is the Mojave grom. I got my son one and he loves it. they come ready to run with battery and charger, tons of aftermarket parts for it to make it his own. 3 different speeds, 2 year warranty on the whole car. I might have bought myself one and told my wife its for the nephews when they come over. watch them on amazon sometimes there will be a sale for 130 bucks. or get him a scx24. honestly there both fun cars and parts are really cheap for them. they can learn the basics at a young age as well.
