Project 69

Some interior pics. Made and installed the block off plates for the window scoops and installed a $60 Amazon backup camera so that I can see back. I think I have room for my Switch Pros on the dash left of the steering wheel.

New rims and tires. I think I really like the look but not so much the handling on the road. I guess that’s the trade off you have to deal with race tires. I’m going to deal with it for now since it’s a weekend off-road car

Got the Switch Pros installed and started doing more wiring. I got the 12 switch panel instead of the 8 switch panel because I don’t want to run out of buttons to push. Because we all know that more buttons you push the faster you go in the dirt. Everyone knows that

Got rid of the at cheap backup camera and installed this one made by Wolfbox. Extremely clear picture with memory, it has 3 cameras, forward, back and even a bumper camera.

Installed maintenance lights, yes they are called maintenance lights not ground effects. Ground effects are for the little Honda boys. Men use them as maintenance light so that you can work on your shitbox in the dark.

Dude this thing is freaking rad ! How many miles have you put on it so far?
I have close to 30 miles on it, still in the building phase, so I just drive it up and down the street to test. I did drive it to the hills behind friends house that’s 2 miles from the house.

fuck you.
THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I WANTED TO DO THE SPARE & REAR ENGINE COMP. ON MY DADS CAR!!!!!!!!!!

i mean tot he T. exactly. fuckingfuckshitdick.

but also..... THANK YOU FOR DOING IT FIRST AND NOW I HAVE SOMETHING TO COPY EXACTLY! hahah

Seeing and working on all these buggies/rails makes me want to build my own..........If only the transaxles weren't so damn expensive.
Yeah, they are stupid expensive but not that much more than a built rear end and transmission. Apples to apples if you are higher hp build, IMO a built rear and is upwards of $8,000 and a built T400 transmission is $5,000 so it’s the same cost. At least that’s what I tell myself.

I’ve been wanting to build one of these toolboxes for a while now and finally got around to doing it. It’s in a pelican case so it should be durable and keep all the tools nice and tight. I even got the battery jumper in there.
