Check all your grounds too. I have had issues with bad grounds putting a ton of resistance in the charging circuit killing alternators. I always add more grounds now. Extra engine ground, extra chassis ground from battery to cage/frame.

Will do, more grounds never hurts. I did notice that the new alternator was constantly at 14.8 volts and I just thought that it was the new alternator overcharging but I might actually have a problem other than alternator. Kind of piggybacks on what the Chancegoodman was saying too, overloading due to too much resistance. I guess the body is coming off for the 69 millionth time.

I feel like you're a god dam national hero with cat like reflexes to keep up with the car going 69 freedom speeds.

We did 190 miles last week, the buggy did great and the OEM alternator held up. Great weather and great time with friends.

Washed it and finally took it home. Now it gets to be garage queen and go to the mall. Good news is I don’t think the wife wants to ever ride in it anymore. You see what happened was, well she came for a ride with me and I got little too excited and sent it little to fucking hard, this subsequently resulted in a wheelie and you get to imagine the rest.
