Check all your grounds too. I have had issues with bad grounds putting a ton of resistance in the charging circuit killing alternators. I always add more grounds now. Extra engine ground, extra chassis ground from battery to cage/frame.

Will do, more grounds never hurts. I did notice that the new alternator was constantly at 14.8 volts and I just thought that it was the new alternator overcharging but I might actually have a problem other than alternator. Kind of piggybacks on what the Chancegoodman was saying too, overloading due to too much resistance. I guess the body is coming off for the 69 millionth time.
