Welp the Amazon spindles arrived and we went ahead and did all the weld work first. Went to install the spindles and to my surprise the brake caliper mounting holes were 14mm. The spindle on my 4runner is a 12mm. So I had to wait until the next day. Go buy new hardware and drill out my calipers . Hopefully it holds up! My 4runner is a 2015 and this is the year where it’s a 50/50 shot you get the correct spindles unless you know ahead of time. 2015+ are 14mm spindles and the older ones are 12mm. HEADS UP!!!

In the middle of all of this I went ahead and put on new heavy front coils. Set the preload on my bilstiens two snap rings up. Used the local DIY shop for their compressor and it made the job a breeze!

One of my buddies was selling his beadlocks and it was too good of a deal to pass up! Do to time crunch @Rooster.Fabrication took on the task of throwing the tires on for me. He put 13oz of airsoft bb’s in each tire for balancing. So far they’re driving great with no shaking!!

With the tie rod issues I had in the previous days and the worry of not being able to replace the lc100’s on the trail if one failed I decided to stay with stock tierods. But I did order the Dialed Designs tie rod sleeves. They claim up to 40” tires with their sleeves seems like a good company with quick shipping and upfront customer service!

Here she is! Sitting pretty and ready for the body mount relocation and fender well tubbing. But we’re doing the ORBDR and WABDR this weekend so I need to get these gears broke in and hit the hills! Continue to check in for updates!! Thank you everyone! @Rooster.Fabrication

I supposed I should add the previous mods that I had done before this.
-Bilstein 5100 shocks front and rear
-1” body lift
-Total Chaos UCA
-Cut pinch weld and smashed in with hammer
-Cut 4” from the front fenders
-Removed washer bottle
-KPOffroad alignment cams and hardware
-Powersteering and trans coolers
-The gears are 4.88’s

Since you're already this deep into it. Drill out your spindle tie rod hole straight. Replace the tierod end with a heim and some misalignments and throw a grade 8 bolt in there. And if you want to get extra fancy, make your spindle double sheared for extra beef.

So far so good, I’ve got about 3,000 miles of offroading including the WA and ORBDR routes, a couple technical crawling trails and some go fast trails. I was very nervous about my steering rack but it’s still holding.

They’re pretty chopped up, I have a BMR kit I need to installs but the tires do not rub on the body mounts right now. -38 offset on the wheels
