Extend Cab Short Bed
5.8L, 4WD and yes that is paint
Current front end
- 4.5 Cho Beams - 16" 3.0 Bypass 14" 2.5 Coil 2.5x2.5 Bump - Dual Swing Steer -
Rear
- Richer Racing Spring Under Kit - 18" 3.0 Bypass - 2.0x4 Bump
1.75 .120 Cab Cage - 3 full-size seats

I've had the truck for 4 years now and should be in the desert here soon with a new back half bed cage, a new 9" with 4.88/ Detroit/35spline, and some new 3.5 18" 5 tube kings bypasses to try and make leaf springs fast or something dumb like that.

Pics of older iterations of the truck

Decided I was done with 8.8s and started to build a 9". believe it came out of an 84 Bronco?
Built a simple rear truss for it and had Oceanside Driveline build my a 3rd and order up some dutchmen axles
Also added Drain and Fill

Ruffstuff 9" Disc Brake Kit
35 Spline Dutchmen Axles
Detroit tru-trac
4.88s
Spicer Case
1350 Yoke with pinion support
Truss is 1.75 .120 DOM with .120 plate

Got the axle all welded up and ready for paint. Decided to use the Seymour Stainless paint, curious to see how it will hold up.

Build Pics of the new "Backhalf" after I ripped the frame apart at hammers. Don't have any good pics of the damage, but that's what led to the new back half. Ripped right at the rear part of the old C Notch.

Bit of scrap plate on the bottom was the redneck fix to get the truck back to the trailer
IMG_0247.jpg

- Upgraded to a 34 gallon bronco tank and desolate tank skid
- Moved rear swinger back 1" to get 60" center to center of piviots
IMG_1383.jpg

Simple beginning to a rear bumper deal and easy end to the bedcage

Leaf springs are perfectly flat a full bump, 20" metal to metal. I'm guessing 18"-19" bumped and strapped

Figured it would be much easier to replace the section of frame rather than try and fix it
IMG_1728.jpg

The new frame is 6 x 4 .250 wall tube I had laying around
Also used all 2" .120 DOM cause when has rear weight ever hurt a leaf sprung truck
IMG_1744.JPG

Cut the c notch into the new frame section
