I would. I left the bolt on flanges on my headers and they leak and are a pain to get to. Definitely planning to cut them off and weld on v bands someday.

V bands are just worth it across the board!

Just don't add a ton of heat into them! I warped mine and now it leaks lol

There is still plenty of room under the dash in that area. It will be where all my electrical stuff will be. The vintage AC will be under the passenger side dash. Looks are deceiving in this photo. Didn’t want to risk bending a tube when not needed.

Started messing with the steering. I have a fireball steering bearing coming from Kartek.

Also put the V Bands on and started the exhaust. It’s all a tight fit but she clears

I do know vibrant makes 3” round into 3” oval exhaust tubing. Helped me with clearance stuff on cars some years ago now

Made a temp mount so I could have the fender on a bump. Moving the truck to the big garage so I have some room to work on the front end and try to work towards getting fab part done. Other than that I’m slowly looking for used parts to finish this thing.

Yeah so much there are times I regret doing a full build again. Do most myself so it’s tough to stay motivated at times. I should be way further along.
