Hey guys, here’s a little intro to my build currently in the works. (Parts, design, fabrication.) life for this truck started out in Arizona as a truck known as ClifFord. I bought it from a guy in texas that didn’t need it anymore for his race team. Long story short I snapped the intermediate shaft in the transmission when it was a perfectly capable linked/caged/long traveled truck lolol. Now it’s turned into a blizzard project.

I scanned the cab/fiberglass and then designed the chassis in fusion 360 and a buddy of mine and I built a cnc tube notcher to cut it out.

Parts list:
Camburg centermount, camburg TT rear 4” housing, gearworks 10” third member, jumbo 36 spline TT axles, camburg TT snouts and hubs, camburg 1 5/8 sway bar with billet upper links, racer engineering 100 gallon radius fuel cell, fiberwerx gen 2 luxury prerunner glass, fiberwerx flagship carbon fiber full size dash, raceline forged ryno beadlocks, procomp 40” tires, moruzzi 416ci stroker, full billet trans done by Juanco, 18 - GG Lighting CB60s for the front with rock lights and rear facing light bar, full Howe TT steering system with 3.0 rack, cookcraft mufflers/resonators, fox shocks 4.4x18” bypasses in the rear with 3.0x16” coilovers, 4.0x14” bypass with 3.0x14” coilovers in the front. (Still waiting on those. Month 18…. 🤬🤬🤬🤬)

I’ll post some fusion 360 stuff as well as fabrication and things as well.

Sorry for the photo dump 😅

Here’s some of the renderings and fusion chassis work 🤘🏼 the scanner I’m using is an einstar 3D scanner. For under $1000 this thing kicks ass.

So we cut the chassis out on a plasma tube notcher we built. This is the full truck on the floor. Each color correlates to a certain part of the truck. Fuel cell/engine cage/floor/etc…

Made a lot more progress on the entire chassis!

I have been using Autodesk Inventor and last year at SEMA the Autodesk guys asked why I was not using Fusion. I had no answer, I never looked into it. I got hooked on Inventor when I was working for the man. Then when I quit I just continued to use it. I have SW as well but had become used to Inventor.

Yeah I prefer fusion over the other 2, but I come from autodesk Alias.

Interesting tire choice for such a pricey looking build.. lol. Unless those are just mockup and roller tires.

They’re what I could get a hold of at the time. Just for mock-up. I’m on month 19 of a shock wait…. Tracking tires down has been about as fun. Not on top of the prio list right now.
