Loosing Momentum

Tommy doesn’t have a lawn. From what I can tell anyway. Kevin created his lawn and would probably cut me for mowing it. Mikey might let me wash his cars or something.

Seriously though I just need to do it. Whatever it takes. From what all of you have said in a really nice way, put your purse down and get after it.

I'd do it if he wants. The cash is always nice lol. But I have no hard feelings if he has someone else do it.

I guess my previous post didn't help much hah. You want to go faster, safely. Totally doable in your truck with a cage. I think regardless of the route you go (caging your truck or starting a new truck) a cage is in order, so either way money needs to be spent haha. I think that's the biggest thing for me with my motivation. How much money do I have to put into something? I don't necessarily want the biggest/fastest, but it's hard putting money into the truck when I have a house that needs maintenance/updating

Shit dude, my truck has been driveway art since August of 2023. I am so close to fireup but its all the little detail things waiting on the time now.

My problem is now that I am really close but I think subconsciously I am worried something will go wrong and blow it up. If it's not running, it can't blow up so I am both in a rush to get it done but also nervous about finishing it. It makes finding the motivation hard when you can have excuses come up.

I'm just worried about throwing a rod through the block. These 2uz motors are great with a great tune but since I am starting mostly from scratch I am cautious.

There really is mostly detail work left, I have to wrap the harness with heat shield covering, finish weld the exhaust, do the trans cooler lines, do a fuel line check, and program my triggers/ecu.

I am putting off my extra battery, bigger alternator, and bed rack solar until I get the truck running. Then its 3/4 link time.
