Locked & LS'd Tacoma

Kind of thinking I want to look for some Deavers for the back. Hopefully I can find some with 3 inch lift. I'm rethinking some of this TG stuff here, the leafs are way too stiff and they don't flex worth a shit.
The trail gear 3 inchers flex pretty well with my shit box... Cant keep a set of bushing alive longer than a trip... but simple fix of linking it with help.

I wonder if the 5 inch pack just has extra leaves in there they you could pull out rather than swapping in a whole other pack ? just to take the truck out and have some fun with it without pissing away a bunch of money and trying to sell the 5 inchers on facebook market place " is this still available? "

Links are obviously going to be the route on this pile of parts seeing your baja bug and given your Romanian roots.

You're absolutely right. I can play with removing some leafs to see how much it changes but first and foremost, drive it and enjoy it the way it is. I want to do some trips first and then upgrade later. For now I just have to use my pole vaulting skills or carry a step stool everywhere I go.

As far as staying leaf over in the rear while dropping ride height and getting more flex / performance, I thought these trucks using 62” SUA springs SOA was pretty nice. I have no wish to be affiliated with these guys - in fact a guy who said he took his truck to their shop came back with it all poorly setup. Judge for yourself.

if you keep the current pack, go spring under and toss leafs out till they're compliant its not really going backward if you still go to Deavers later as yotas work better spring under ad that will already be done. the other way is good ol chevy 63s at a junkyard near you.
