Ok @LoganB here’s some BBL updates for ya I cut the old spare tire mount off cause I’ve always hated how the back of this truck looked and I wanted to get more rear weight/ more storage double Stack time!thinking something like this on the layout need your guys opinion on this strap setup for the tires. I thought it would be trick to use these retractable ratchet straps, one because I haven’t seen someone do it yet, two there 10’ long so you could tie shit down above the tires with the same strap if needed or take one tire off and buy a big camp box etc etc, and three there’s no weird extra slack. Buttttt I got them mocked up today and not super stoked on how bulky they are :/ function=gangster looks=kinda ugly. LMK what you guys think

Looks a lil big imo but i like the idea. Im a big fan of keeping as much stuff as possible below the top of bedside, maybe mount somewhere where they wont protrude so much?

Mount them vertically on the down tube below the tube they're on in the pic?

That’s what I was thinking but kind of eliminates the easiness of the whole idea

Swapping spares isnt really something most people do that often so i think spending a little more time to swap a tire isnt a deal breaker if it means cleaner finished product

I would use a single Y design over those, if it were me.
