Is there such thing as a 1.25 Heim joint with a 3/4-inch bolt hole?

Anyway, yeah, it would be quite pleasing if such an item exists I cannot find one, nor can chatgpt.

McMaster doesn’t even carry threaded rod in that size…

What’re you trying to accomplish with that bastard size?

Shit, I meant 1.25 rod end with 3/4 bore.
I'll have to edit the title

Its for this beam kit, there is no room for Misalignment spacers for the 1.25 rod end. But It takes a 3/4" bolt. So either I have to run a sleeve in the rod end to drop it to 3/4" or run a 1" bolt or, ideally find said rod end.

What does ‘ol Jasin Elvis Heard “deploy” or whatever singular multisyllabic word he overuses in his videos?

When I’ve put uniballs on the ends of TTBs, I machined the misalignments down to fit inside the brackets. I’m guessing JEHC does something similar

We emailed them with several questions but they haven't had time to get back to us I guess. So I dont really feel like emailing them more.

Anyway I do not think the rod end exists off the shelf. We are going to basically make these sleves and call it a day. Thanks anyway for looking

With the tabs being that narrow, do the beams have enough room to articulate without binding on itself?

Good question. We haven't built it yet. But. My friend drew it in cad and said he was having issues with cycling it - for that exact reason. So I am not sure.

Yeah if you're able find some spacers that work than design the mounts to that width. Beam pivots are usually wider. Ours are 2.125" wide with 5/8 bolt for reference

My beam mounts are fairly narrow and it gets really close on the inside when it cycles. I'll try and get some measurements tmrw for you.

1-7/8 stack height with a 3/4 bolt, 1.250 heim. I dont see how it could be any narrower than this, it gets very close when cycling the beams.

Thanks everyone. For now, the plan is to run the sleeves since they’re free and we already have all the parts cut from the DIY Off-Road cut list, so we’ll install everything as designed.

If that rod end ends up causing any binding, we have everything in cad and make wider bracket for misalignment spacers if needed.

The nice part is everything is bolt-on at this point, so swapping the mount later won’t be a big deal. We’re also thinking the 1-7/8" misalignment spacers are probably the right move, and the ones linked above should work if that’s the case.

Here is some nice progress on the beams 😀

The ones linked above are the ones I use, but as I mentioned the heim gets close to the brackets when cycling. Has nothing to do with the heim articulation to the spacer, but to the bracket.

Copy, understood. I probably didn't type it out great but we are seeing that in the cad, the rod end body contacting the sides of the bracket as it cycles and the radius arm pulls the beam through its arc.

This is the bracket we are building:
