We would if we had someone that already went through the application and interview process. There's so much that goes into it which is why we don't have pups returned to us. We truly do our best to find the pups their forever home

Almost feel like Cheech's character in Dusk to Dawn describing the "quality of women" he has to offer. Lmao

Just pulled this lil thing from the shelter the other day. She's so sweet and DGAFs about cats and get along amazing with the other dogs

Haven't updated in a while. Work and dad life has been kicking my butt lately. But alas, here we are. So since the last update things have been crazy to say the least. We are full, shelters are overflowing all due to people who give up on pups. We are having to turn away dogs and only help in dire medical cases. Which leads up to Bonnie. A sweet little French Bulldog pup who's owner didn't take swift enough action and she contracted parvo. And those that know, parvo is a death sentence for dogs, especially pups. So we rushed her to the ER and she was in rough shape. But one thing I've learned doing this, is if you give the pups hope, they become some of the strongest fighters you'll find. And fight she did. After over $6k of treatment at the vet, we were able to bring her home. Her home quarantine ends tomorrow, and she is rip roaring to get out and be a puppy again.

Then we have Sabrina, she's a 6week old Cane Corso pup. She was born with a clef lip and had to be bottle fed. She's now able to eat solids and is full of puppy play.

So between our personal dogs ( Pitty, 2 Frenchies, and a Great Dane) we have a Dogo Argentina, 8 Frenchies, and a "pocket bully" we thought we were at our limit. Then as life would have it, a friend of Wifey's calls and she was going through some personal issues I won't air our, she surrendered 3 more Frenchies.

For those of you that know what we do and know how much we put into making sure the pups are fully vetted and any medical issues addressed and fixed, but also making sure these dogs find their perfect home.

So I ask, if you know anyone looking for a forever pup, send them over to our website or Facebook page. I know not everyone is ina place to help financially. Trust me I get it and I know that feeling. Following and sharing on the social media pages is free and takes just a few seconds. And if anyone would like to donate, please do. Even $5 - $10 helps and it truly goes a long way. I'm about 2 seconds away from making a commerical with some sad Sarah McLachlan music playing and whoring myself for donations for the pups.

I know everyone has a lot going on, but we're in need of some help. We rescued this pup from the shelter in hopes of finding him the perfect family and a much better life in contrast to where he came from, ending up in the shelter. After holding him for 2 min we knew there was something wrong with the lil dude. And no fault of the shelter. They are so over inundated with dogs that they can't afford to run a battery of tests on every animal that gets dumped on them. So we took him and had him checked out. And the diagnosis was not good. But if anyone knows how we ( the rescue) operates, we go to extreme lengths to give EVERY dog we take every possible solution to have the life they deserve. So after the vet appointments and cardiologist appointments, it was disheartening to see everyone basically giving up on him, even if we weren't. So we sat down and almost gave up ourselves and were just going to give him the best life while he was still with us.

But my wife is not a quitter and has never been. So she started doing research and found the ONLY vet in the country that deals with this in small animals and she was able to schedule a meeting with the Vet and his team. It was a long shot, but we kept our fingers crossed. And by some stroke of luck, they reviewed his med charts and test results and told us that he ( Muggles) is a candidate for the surgery which consists of putting a shunt in his heart. And we were beside ourselves.

So now we're at the point that we need everyone's help with saving a life. If he wasn't such a rad dog, we wouldn't be doing all of this. But we believe he deserves to have a good life. The vets are surprised he has lived this long. And that just adds to his fighting spirit.

So if anyone is willing to donate it would mean more than anything. Even like $15-$20 truly does go a long way. We rely SOLELY on donations from generous folks that see what we do and know how committed we are. What we do is not easy. Nor is it cheap. Last year alone we spent well over $125k just in vet bills alone. And that's not including pet food, gas driving them to and from, blankets and bedding etc etc.

So if anyone can donate and help save a life, it would mean the world to us

So sorry we've been quiet for a bit, it's been busy busy!!! Please bare with is, this is a long one.

Today we are begining to raise funds for Mojo's heart stent and subsequent ear surgery. We took Mr Mojo up to see our regular vet last week for his evaluation for his ears, and the Dr agrees that he needs surgery to rectify the issue he's having. He has performed this surgery for us several times before and he has done an amazing job saving their hearing which is so important. The dr did administer some treatment to hopefully improve his ear infection in the meantime, but ultimately he will need surgery. His ear surgery cannot be performed until his heart stent is placed and he is cleared by cardiology to do so. We also finally received our estimate from Colorado for his heart procedure. The estime range is $$8500-$10,800.00 (which is posted in our Cuddly Fundraiser) Please keep in mind this amount does not cover transportation to Colorado, his neuter or ear surgeries. This grand amount of fundraising is no small feat for us as a small rescue and we would be so so appreciative for the help to get him better.

We are also aware that some people question why we should spend this amount on one dog. Well, we do not think for one second that one life is more valuable than another. Mojo is an amazing little boy and he deserves a long happy and healthy life just as much as every other dog we help. Also, we do genuinely believe that certain cases find their way to us because we are absolutely 100% committed to helping every dog we bring in to Rescue, whether we are aware of the extent of their medical issues at the time of intake or not. Every dog deserves the opportunity to be treated as a loved companion, and given the opportunity to heal and thrive through the help of rescue.

The hospital is extremely familiar with this

procedure, so much so, that they call it the frenchie special, and see cases of PS so often that they already have stents on hand for the procedure. Assuming Pre-Op does not reveal any unknown issues or complications, the prognosis is good for an uneventful stent placement and recovery.

Any money received goes 100% to the dogs. We don't take a paycheck for any of this. Every single penny goes back to the dogs and their treatment and care.

Every little bit helps. Even $5-$10 helps. We do this for the dogs.

If any would like to help, DM me or hit us up on the socials.

Meet Mojo
