Excursion "Large Marge"

Build thread for my 2000 Excursion. I'll post what pics I have up to its current state. Front end is Giant beams and steering, Solid coilovers. Its on 40s w/ Raceline beadlocks. Hanneman fenders. I'm gathering a few things before I start the rear w/ Giant links, Solid c/o and bypasses.

Updating front end today, waiting on hardware for bedsides

This McNeil kit is nice, had to tab the header for different lights and grill but everything fit relatively great all things considered.

Mounted the rest of the glass over the weekend and made bumpers, the rear looks outrageous with the tow stuff still on so no backshots. Little did I know I’d need to drop the tank to remove the tow package and filled up beforehand. Next up is trussing the housing and a few things before links/tubes can be added

Thanks Geoff! The rear is still on leafs, waiting for the heat to force me inside to get that done

Tried getting this linked last year before our baby arrived and ran out of time, now we are in the groove of things and I'm able to work on it again. Heres where I'm at so far. Plan is to cage from b-pillar to front bumper in a year or so

Will drop this cage section over the weekend to weld top sides and then work my way to back bumper
