Well it all started a few years ago with this1000012714.jpg1000012715.jpg
It was meant to be a little desert fun truck for the wife and I but soon my son and I where at the beginning of a adventure that would take most of our time and money. Bought the truck locally off market place and had enough junk sitting around to get it to the first stage of the build we will share as we get time to update and show how the last 2 and a half years of racing and revuilding have gone.We are still racing and improving the truck but figured we would share our journey to this point. @Calebfuson

First things first, found some fiberglass because you can't have a brorunner without them, then started on figuring out the suspension. It came with f100 beams someone had uniballed and made longer trailing arms. Had a blown up ford 8.8 rear diff and a roll cage, we would end up cutting off most of the bed cage, engine cage and firewall as we built the truck to race specs.1000012717.jpg1000012719.jpg1000012715.jpg1000012721.jpg1000012723.jpg1000012725.jpg

Of course we didn't have near enough to do building a race truck, but we didn't have enough $, so we started building a trailer so we could eventually haul duh_ranger around

Little did we know a month later we where hired to move a shed so the trailer was already making us money to go to the truck1000012741.jpg

So lucky for me we had a rod start knocking in the wifes tahoe on the way back from the lake, so we had ourselves a mock up engine. The wife got upgraded to a 6.0 because who doesnt need more power. Found a th400 at the local trans core pile for a couple hundred bucks and the truck finally had some sort of drivetrain. 1000012731.jpg1000012729.jpg

We acquired a old short coarse hood, fenders and doors that would eventually become our oneoff front end we run on the truck to this day. Acquired a truck so we now had a LQ9 , harness, pcm, hydroboost, peddle assembly, radaitor, fans and tilt column. Ordered some 16" 2.5 FOA coilovers and soon the front end was beginning to look like somthing. We made our own harness eventually and used HP tuners to tuner our chevy pcm.
