I know this isn’t really suspension but I didn’t know where else to plan it. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on what size wheels are best for rerunning. I was looking at some 17x9 wheels. Will those be good? I chose 17s because there are a lot more tire options. My only concern is that 9 is too wide. Let me know your thought. Thanks!

I want to be able to run 37s right now I have stock brakes but I will be going bigger. I’m looking at only about 12 inches of travel in the front.

Then you'd want 17" wheels to fit bigger brakes.

It kind of seems like you're going out of order. 37s with (what I'm assuming are) stock hubs aren't going to work out well. Seems like you're jumping the gun a bit.

Yeah what he said. Also pay attention to offset. Wheel offset translates to scrub which will also play a role in killing hubs and balljoints or uniballs on your spindles.

Also depends what hubs he has. Dana 35/44 hold up decently well to 37s

12.188” rotors and Wilwood calipers fit inside 15” wheels.

Is a 14” trophy truck brake package needed on a ford ranger with 12” of travel?

No.

I want to run 45” tires with 25” rims with stock brakes and 7.5” travel. What type of blinker fluid should I run? Synthetic or regular?
