This was a little unsettling at the deepest part of this little mine

Everyone pretty much got it covered with their pictures. Mine are mostly of my wife and Hank lol. I'll drop a few here.

Overall it was an incredible trip. Chelsea isn't an offroader or camper at all, and she hasn't been able to grasp why I love it so much (she's only been to a couple Clean Dezert events where she doesn't know anybody or get to build connections to people). Thankfully that all changed this trip. She had so much fun hearing the banter over the radio, talking around the campfire, seeing the killer views and destinations, and the relatively mild trails were good for easing her into what the trucks are capable of.

A common sight for Friday... 103* temps, 30mph tailwind, and a constant grade all worked against me.

Saturday evening we had a hard time finding where to camp to avoid a miserable, wet, windy night. Found a spot along the river, got camp set up, and then it started howling and pouring anyways hah! Made a little shelter with the RTT overhanging off the back of the truck, used the cover to block the wind, and brought the camp table and heater underneath so I could grill burgers. Chels and Hank took it like champs!

@the bodj Chelsea and Hank handled the trip like veterans. Always great when a early trip leaves a good impression as to how future trips could go vs the opposite. Luckily for the ladies Lances route had plenty of mostly official bathroom spots. I appreciated not having to hike and dig as well.

Definitely! She did as well hah. I bought a collapsible toilet before the trip and we never had to use it.

Thanks for setting this up and leading the whole way Lance. My son had a blast and has already called shotgun for the next one. I wish I didn't have to baby a 3 legged Jeep around the whole time but was still able to enjoy the route. Having the boys run off as a pack sure was handy for setting up camp, thank you all for raising good kids and bringing them out to have fun.
