Seriously I love this thing and am planning on doing the same thing to my Sequoia minus the LS swap because its already got a solid motor and trans. Also keeping it linked out back with cantilever coilovers too. Such a clean setup without needing a cage and losing the creature comforts of stock interior minus storage things you want to add

Small update! We decided to get the windows tinted in the jeep. We went with 50% and the best ceramic that the shop had, the heat difference is incredible. Reducing heat was out main goal, the AC works well but i wish It have another couple fan speeds lol

We have a few smaller updates coming down the pipeline, but we were recently out using it in Mammoth Lakes CA. We took dirt from June Lake to our camp Glass Creek. Such a fun area, most of the trail was 2wd with a few steep climbs and we used 2 Low.

So we finally have a little update. Trucks been running and working great! We had Auxbeam reach out to us and send us their lights and 8 gang switch panel.







Lights are super bright, and everything was easy to install.

Spent some time with @the_fablab_ and modified a Dana 50 TTB stub shaft. Now I can do 4x4 stuff and not worry about axel bind. We also added a Tom Woods offsetset u joint.

Over Halloween we had a great time out of Basin road near Baker CA. The Kelso dunes are small but super fun and not crowded at all.

A week before Thanksgiving we heard a gravel type noise in the jeeps rear end which is never good. Discovered that our pinion nut on our junkyard 8.8 decided to come loose. Here were the results.



Luckily we were able to bring it to a local shop and have it regeared to 4.56. Nice finally having gears and we were able to make it out to Thanksgiving with the crew.

When we got back after Thanksgiving @the_fablab_ had gotten my gated shifter in. For some reason we kept stretching the cable on the b&m shifter.




He has the same setup in his bronco and I have to say the arm rest is super nice!

This Jeep runs and drives great. It's actually a DD and we drive it all around the country as full-time RVers. It was built in Southern California by a local shop. Daily driver, rock crawler and a prerunner, it does it all! Please let me know if you have any questions.
