Late to the party here, but I used this cooler on my 1999 Tacoma 3.4/auto. I don’t have a temp sensor hooked up get, but the cooler gets screaming hot when I push the truck hard. It’s mounted to the rear cage work, so it doesn’t get a ton of airflow. I have a Spal fan on it, but again not hooked up yet.
I ran a similar B&M cooler on my XJ, same transmission, and it kept the temps under 200 degrees.
