2026 Losers Club

I am assigning numbers to make listing weigh in's easier to list. In so far Me #1, @dwphoto #2, @WW_RANGER_X #3, @Cleandezert #4 @desert_steve #5 @Tree trunk #6 @Kellyex1450 #7
Weigh in happens Monday. I like only weighing weekly so it averages out the daily fluctuations. I like morning after a waking up and taking a piss, but pick what ever time is good for you.

Weigh in 1 05JAN
1. 321.2
2. 208.8
3.
4. 313.4
5. 228.2
6.
7. 260.5

I got a jumpstart on my weight loss journey by waking up xmas morning with a fever and the rocket shits (so I was able to drop a few lbs). All good now, let my #2026weightgainjourney begin!

That sucks about getting sick, but bonus on the quick weight drop. Now you just need to figure out how to keep what you lost off. So are we still in or are we out. I still need your weigh in if you are in.

I also need a weight from @WW_RANGER_X.

Im *in*. 228.2lbs. I copied/pasted the weights from your original post to show everyones weights in my earlier post.

Remember that weight is only part of the story. There is ways to cheat the number a little bit if you are only looking at the number. It wouldn't hurt to put your body to the tape. Both at the navel and at your beltline. This is more an issue with females' than males. Girls can diet and start working out and drastically change their shapes without drastically changing the scale.

Water is 8lbs a gallon. Getting up to proper hydration will bring your overall weight up. But it is better to get up to proper hydration and maintain it. Peeing is flushing out stuff. Good rule of thumb is to drink a glass of water every time you pee during the day. The interwebs states that you should be drinking one oz of water for every two pounds of body weight. I would rather have a worse weigh in number, but know I have been keeping up on my water. I am not a fighter.

Muscle is heavier than fat. None of use have enough muscle to really worry about this. If you are eating the proper foods and the proper amounts then any pound of new muscle should raise your metabolism to burn fat better.

To burn fat you should be 60-70% max hr. You can theoretically over cardio if your goal is fat burning. Once you get past 70% then your body looks elsewhere for fuel.

Your body will burn sugars before fats. Eat like you are diabetic. Low glycemic foods should be your target. I am not saying no carbs, but they should be complex and high in fiber. Food has enough natural sugars if you are eating balanced, so avoid adding foods with additional added sugars.

Look into removing common high allergen foods for 30 days. You might have food sensitivities and not know it. Allergens cause bloating and joint swelling. Also there is a theory that your body will wrap a bad cell in fat to protect the system. If you are eating "heathy" but that includes something your system hates then you might be fighting a internal battle. This will also help with cravings.

I am not a doctor and I obviously don't do a great job following my own advise, so take all this with that in mind. These are just some of the things I have heard over the years, and stuff I have heard my wife discuss with the people she is coaching. What say all of you.

lol, well my height to weight ratio for a 41 year old should be around 155lbs-160lbs on average. So I’ll shoot for 159lbs for goal for now and see how I feel. These Keystones flow like water so cutting back on that should help if I can do it. They just built a cool mile long walking path down the street from my work, so I think a few times a week on my lunch break I walk it for some movement. I’m going to start monitoring my drinking and slowly hope to get the numbers down. It doesn’t help that I eat like a 10 year old lol.

I am just kidding with you. There is a reason why there is a Body Mass Index, even if i think it is way off. I would need to get to 205 I think just to get into the top of normal. I will be at least 30 days no alcohol. I should be fine as I don't have camping plans for January. The twins turn 21 in Feb so I will probably have some drinks with them.
