I just need to add you to the list. The weight tracking is to keep you accountable (knowing it is public) and because this is a forum I would think if others see anyone on the group slipping, they will get called out... I mean helped to find the motivation to get back on track. :p

Other than that, if you have tips of how to keep motivated, cheats for eating well, ect then post them.

And could you switch your documentation to Monday so we are all aligned. ;)

I don't like doing it on Mondays because that's right after the weekend/more likely i've cheated or ate shitty. Wednesday is more of an average of the whole week.

all i can say is have your kids mother leave you for your best friend, who has (HAD now) a six pack, then you'll be determined to get ripped in order to get a hot chick.

it does not work, repeat, does NOT, but by the time you figure that out, you will have fallen in love with exercise and eating healthy. so you'll be good. hahah

you should've see the notes i used to keep when i was keeping track of the food i ate BEFORE i started my "meal plan" / worked with a nutritionist. it even shocked the fuck out of her. haha

Now that I think about it attempting to become "healthier" adding activity (Biking, Hockey, Working out, going to gym etc.) and watching what I have been eating for the past 6 years. Has propelled everything forward including this Bad Lines Good Times Forum, Podcast, IG . Tons of cool trips, adventures,. I look back at like 40 lbs ago when I was 250 lbs everything was hard from tying my ice skates, working on shit, going on walks with the wife and kids. Everything hurt. Motivation at an all time low. Made a few adjustments and things began to improve for the better... Still just getting started but better than where I was.

For me, my why:

For my family my Kids.

- I want to be able to chase them around and take them do cool shit. Hiking, Biking, hockey, playing at the park etc.
- set the standard for them taking care of the body is important.


For myself.

-Feeling Better, lets joint pain, Back pain etc
-more energy. or Motivation to get shit done
-Sleep Better
- I want be able to rip on the mt bike and continue to play Ice hockey at a competitive level.
-Just leveling up overall each day trying to be better than I was the day before
-and just why the fuck not


If there's no "why"? You are right, whats the point.?.. eat the HOHO's and hang out on the couch and bitch about this and that.

I personally say Fuck That... there is more to life than letting the body wither away.

6'4" I was doing a 250 - 285 diet 260 - 285 diet 260 - 290 diet 250-then all of a sudden 320... I would love to get to the 230 range then figure out how not to blow back up. I was treating food and drink as a crutch mentally to get me through life lately.

My knee is starting to make funny noises on the stairs, doesn't really hurt, but it isn't happy. Lots of other stuff I deal with is probably due to inflammation as well. Having my wife keeps asking, "are you okay" because I am breathing real heavy without knowing it. :ROFLMAO: "yes dammit, I need to breath to live". I know I will feel better, but I am going to miss enjoying food. :cry:

You got this dude. There are is still tons of things that you can eat that are good you can enjoy. Like copious amounts of meat.

not scared of them... I just accepted that I'm a weak bitch and it's an all or nothing... I cant have just a slice of pizza or a few chips... I'm going to eat all of it like Kirby... So I don't. The same way someone that has issue with Alcohol doesn't just have a beer... or 2... they just don't.

Some people can moderate... that ain't me.

I think I mention this on here before but you go down the food rabbit hole and realize there is a reason we are all sick and fat as fuck.... it's the garbage we put into our bodies. All the sugar and processed bullshit it's designed to make you want more. So once you understand that deleting it out of your diet become that much easier.
 
I will have to say, that i have found that i enjoy stuff i never thought i would. 2 years ago i would absoluately never willing eat/drink black coffee, asparagus, broccoli, mushrooms or salads. Now i get excited to have more veggies in my dinner than meat. I cant stand any sugar coffee. Now i have to figure out how to give up breakfast burritos and pizza.
 
Try substitutes
Make homeade breakfast burritos w low carb tortillas and chicken sausage from Costco. Some good salsa. (El nopalito since your in SD)

Low carb tortillas make a good double decker pizza in air fryer too. Turkey pepperoni and low fat cheese. (Fat free sucks)

i cant just have 1 or 2 reeses, circle k has the 2 for $ or 3 for $ deal........ i look, think im saving money, then grab a fuckload of them. but make sure im grabbing an even amount so i get the deal. haha

4ish oz of beef, 4 eggs, lil bit of bacon bits, x2 smaller tortillas (wheat or flour, just depends where im shopping that day) and 180grams of pure egg whites

makes me 2 burritos, and idk how much left over egg stuff.
almost EVERY SINGLE MORNING, at least, FOR THE PAST 5 OR 6 YEARS.............
