This would be legit. It’ll represent the grass roots. Terra puts on a good show but it’s hardly relatable anymore. They’re beautiful trucks, but seem so far out of touch. But a section with a bunch of garage/driveway built prelander/crawler/prerunner that love to party would be a huge draw. Besides, personally I love seeing trucks with trail damage. It tells a story.
That's what I noticed with Terra at this show. Almost everything was linked and caged. And most of them were beautiful trucks with beautiful work done to them.
If you want the younger kids to get into this hobby. Then people need to showcase their builds. Where not all of them are caged(yet) and still on leaf springs. As a kid I would've walked into the Terra area and be "well these are cool, but I can never afford that" "I'll just get a tuner car instead"
There is a lot of kids like my kid that beat on their trucks. Even though its not caged and still on street Deavers. Oh and part of the dreaded unpainted fender crew. But its taken him 6 years to just get to this point of the build.
The new kids need to see that we all started with the basics until we can work our way up to the linked and caged trucks.
And I think that's what Terra is missing these days. Even though Terra is cool with the kids and the beginners. But its the image that is portrayed that Terra is all nice clean fully built prerunner/race trucks.

That's why parking lot scoping at the Off Road expo was the best. You would see the stuff that was on my kids level.
