1450 Ranger

Upgraded oil cooler and adding the Howe heat exchanger, the engine oil temps got close to 300° in some of the sand sections
Question,
On The howe power steering cooler. (cylinder one) Did u notice any actual difference? I have one sitting on the shelf but havent installed it yet. My buddy that preps TT etc for a living told me not to wase my time with them as they don't work unless you have a fan directly on them. They did testing with sensors and the inlet to out let temp barely dropped. I see urs is right in the front where air would constantly hit it.
Just curious how they work for others. I would like to do some real works testing with mine as we have put them on trucks in the past.

Truck looks awesome!

Knock on wood, we haven't has any power steering issues and been running that same set up for several years. Granted it's in the front for air flow and I dont have any recovery temp numbers to compare. If packaging was better I would add a small cooler with the fan. For this setup it seems to be sufficient on getting the job done.

YouTube is saying I need 50 subscribers to upload live video

It's only half the fun working on the ranger, countless hours to having the trailer and tow vehicle ready!
