I have talked with the CORVA folks and they seem to be 100% lobbying (which is great), Cal4Wheel puts on runs that I have seen out at Slash X and some Eastern Mojave stuff, but I know there are more organizations. I'm looking for an organization that helps land stay open and puts on runs from time to time for fun.

Does anyone have any insight?

where are you out of? i know SDORC is trying to generate revenues for a lobbiest. they have a pretty fun lost lizard poker run if you have never been, but its down in supersition.

Friends of Oceano dunes are awesome guys, and they are fighting the good fight.

Tierra del sol have been nice guys too, and put on some good events.

I'm out of San Dimas, so the Eastern Edge of LA County. The closest spots for me to wheel are Lytle Creek, Cleghorn, and Barstow to a lesser extent.

I joined CORVA at ORE yesterday. Apparently, I have to get jumped in now...wish me luck.
