Yeah trust me, I've thought long and hard about leaving where I'm at and starting a new chapter. But the "security" of having benefits and a steady income has kept me here. I used to love what I do. I actually was, at one time, motivated and excited to come to work. But after watching the political wokeness and leftist ideology seep into this job it truly has me disgusted.

The pendulum of "public safety" has always been a swinging one and will never stay in the middle for long. But it has become so far to the left with coddling criminals and decriminalization of damn near law, mixed with early release of 9th strikers, it's become a total joke.

And don't get me wrong, I don't want to see it go super right either. But both directions are the recipe for loss of constitutional rights, and I am NOT for that.

So remember, stock up on ammo and boom sticks, ( common calibers ... 9mm, .45 ACP, .223/ 5.56, .308, 12ga) get out and train. And train often. Cuz shits gonna get real, real soon

This has been 6 months in the making from getting the initial phone call for a quote (jumped through a million hoops to get approval) to the finished product, kinda. Still waiting on the rear spare tire carrier from Flatline Van Co which should be here some time next week. I’m too excited not to post pics from today getting it off the lift. 2020 Ford Transit AWD ambulance for the city of Visalia I outfitted to help aid Cal Fire in forest fire situations. Lift, wheels, tires, rocker guards, rear diff skid, front bumper, winch, and intercooler guard/skid plate. If American Ambulance likes it enough the plan is to build another one exactly like it.

I work for a school district doing HVAC for 10 years, good benefits and retirement. Also do a ton of side jobs around the IE, and as of last year started a farm, so much fun and my kids love it. Also a full time gig non stop haha

Thanks man, I can't wait to get the spare tire rack on to finish up the look. I went with the Stage 3 2.0 system from Van Compass. They claim a true 2" of lift but adding the winch, skid plate and bumper its closer to only 1.5" of front lift. Running the bigger 245 BFG its probably 2" more of ground clearance all together. I may have went overkill on the rear "tune" they offer but once its loaded down it should level out.
