Broke this out from the drama thread. Who do you watch on youtube to pass time or get creative ideas. Builders, trip reports, walk arounds, what ever....
I have a hard time with most of the famous jeep and or overland channels for the same reason Ron Swanson hates the staff at Home Depot :ROFLMAO:. Some of them may have gotten better, but I have a hard time watching someone that just jumped into a lifestyle to create a channel, preaching how things should be done. My dad really likes Litebright Nation, (probably for the softcore vibe) but I have a hard time watching them.

Here are some of my favorites for different reasons. I will edit and add more as I think of them.
Shannon Campbell - So many rad tips and tricks. Very humble and simplistic view.
Kevin Jones - mix of stuff. Was more ultra4 building, now more lifestyle, 7.3 diesel, and rock crawling.
RJ Fab - Ridiculous level of detail. More walk around style than "how to" but done well. Off road hot rods.
Bad Obsession Motorsports - The level of detail mixed with Zucker brothers style comedy is insane.
Dave Chapelle (not that one) - More everyman type builds with a bunch of how and why.
John Reynolds - Won the first KOH, Built a real cool ultra4 car before youtube became a thing. More follow along as he builds stuff style.
Make it Custom / Japhands - anything and everything sheet metal. Mostly customs with some cool other stuff built as well. Lots of how too. Builds his own tooling for stuff too.

Shannon Campbell's channel has quickly become one of my favorites even bought one of his "tube stacks" and have been using the shit out of it. Lots of old school fab knowledge in his video's.

Some of the stuff is so simple looking it is crazy. A lot of dang, why didn't I think of that.

Some of the channels I like:

Flex, Rocks and Rollovers (I like the hell and back videos)
Stanceworks (watching his F40 progress)
Mr. Zachary (usually, sometimes he’s a little much)
Thecraig909 (have a thing for his crew cab truck)
The Explore Life (aussies)
4wd24-7 (aussies)
Steve Morris Engines
Fireball Tool (cool shop shit)
Mazzei Formula (turbo 5 rotor car)
Full Custom Ian (Ian Roussel)
Carlos LV (lots of square bodies in MX)
Wings World (dig his Ranger build)
Cookcraft Metal (not many videos, but the Bronco though!)

I was watching a bunch of Fireball Tool in the past. Forgot about that one. some cool tips and tricks for sure. I used to watch a ton of Ian Russel on TV but haven't followed his adventures on YT as much. A distant friend was co producer of his TV show. I just started watching Stanceworks. It is done well.

Car Maintenance / Off-Road

South Main Auto - Shop channel in upstate NY
Car Care Nut - All things Toyota
Towmater Offroad Recovery - AZ, UT tow company
Powell Machine-Powell Cams - LS (and other) stuff
Dirthead (Dave) Shed - needs no introduction
David Frieburger - same for Dave

Random Deep Dive Videos

Brick Immortar - Deep dive maratime and other disaster investigations
Animagraffs - Deep dive "how they're made" 3D renderings
Blancolirio - Short / to the point aviation investigation reports on current accidents
Project Farm - Product testing / comparison
Shawn Ryan Show - (only really like the interviews with military veterans, not so much the conspiracy theorists)
