Uncle Eddie bronco build

Won’t be much different than having the top off.
gonna be so fucking LOOOOOOOOOOOOOUDDDDDDDDDD and so much dirt and shit is going to come in from the back area.............................

hell yeah though. 1 step closer

kinnnnnnnda have to disagree with this.

it'll be a lot different actually.
it'll all vacuum and suck in the cab from the square space that the tailgate/window is. it'll be just like driving it with the back window down and tailgate up. it'll all suck into the cab.

now if the top is off, it wont matter. but with the top on and that space open in the back, it'll act as a vacuum

Well I’m going to try swapping out my 600# lower rear spring to a 500# lower spring in the back see if that helps with the bucking. All of my 1350 ujoint parts should be here tomorrow and I’m also going to add hydraulic assist to the steering. I have a event next Weekend so hopefully it all goes quick and easy lol

Rear fenders are finally painted softer rear springs are on and I lowered the pressure to 80 in my bump stops. Going to be drilling g and tapping the steering box today for my hydraulic assist steering. Cut the end off my ram and made one that takes the same 7/8 hemi that’s in the rest of the steering. Also finished my 1350 ujoint driveshaft so hopefully no more braking them.

I don't remember what T-case you got but you were able to run a standard slip yoke t-case not a fixed yoke with a double carden joint like bronco's came with from factory?

That failure almost looks like the low angle 1350 u-joint bound up breaking the joint and driveshaft ear.

That’s a 1330 joint broke at the axle. The rest of the shaft got damaged when it threw it out. It has a slip yoke for the rear drive shaft.

Ram is mounted cycled and works well. Spare Steering box is drilled and tapped and capped. Now to swap it in and hope my fittings and lines show up tomorrow.
I will also be drilling and tapping the box that’s on it to keep as a spare in the trailer. IMG_3925.jpeg

Had the best Midwest dirtfest to date. Broncos did pretty good I made probably 10 laps with out breaking anything. I’m fighting with trans tuning issues and it won’t let me use select shift so I can’t keep it in the power where I want to currently but I had a blast. Plus all the big west coast boys came to play.
