I cut up some foam to stick on the roof, I asked my grandma to make some covers for me and she said “yeah no problem”
The next time I saw her she said… “covering that foam is a fucking pain In the ass”

I think they turned out rad, but I should have asked her to hit the fabric with some spray adhesive before she closed them up…

I’m scared to tell her I had to cut them open to pull the foam out and hit it with some glue. The fabrics hanging pretty loose with how the foam bends with the roof line.

the "stubs" you have on the lower bar, that touch the stock bumper, with "bolt holes, im assuming" in them............
are you going to put a stub out from the fabricated bumper (underneath the stock bumper) and through a hole you're going to holesaw (in the stock bumper) to the female stub off the light bar?


thats a lot of words that dont really make sense when put together like that, to a normal person/brain. hah

But you are correct I wanted to pick up the sub bumper frame for some extra strongness. Those notches stick so far out past the bumper to clear the weld on the “male stub out” parts

I agree, bumpers are stressful, and do make or break the look of trucks, you can have the sweetest prerunner and if its got a goofy bumper that's all people will see. I have learned to build bumpers slow, I have to revisit the look days later. if it do everything quick i screw the look up and need to redo it.
