I THINK thats pretty much most changes til today 11/12/24. Car wash pic from earlier tonight. The other project in the background which i will probably start its own build thread on tonight if i dont fall asleep.

Pulled the bronky into the garage to add a fastener to the valence and found this crack in the exhaust!
Cleaned up the area and welded up the crack. Also did a once over on all the front end and found one loose ttb mounting bolt, yikes!

TBH kinda wish i hadnt welded the crack because it sounded sick before and now is alot more tame

Thinking about adding a flange after the first cat and playing around with exhaust setup running only one cat

Mine has never had a cat since I've owned it and I am going to add a second muffler just because how loud it is in the cab with the drone. So the tameness may be nice haha

Started working on the front skid plate. One thing a day, so today i worked on the mounts for the lower part of the skid plate. The plan is to make it 100% bolt-on.


What do you guys use to cut sheet metal aside from a plasma cutter? Been using an angle grinder for a long time but want to see if something else will cut a little faster and less sparks.

Yeah, it really is game changing. The trigger on my m18 Milwaukee one is kind of wonky, I have a replacement to see of that fixes it. Otherwise its an awesome tool. I'd buy another one if the saw turns out to be bad.
