PILE oh shit bronco 86

Been awhile since I updated this thread but have been using the bronco quite a bit. Has been perfect every trip except working horrible as far as shock tuning. Daughter has been loving it.

I did have an Amazon filter on it and ended up letting dust through and messing up the Holly system causing a stuck throttle. Cleaned the throttle body and found this filter set up for under 100 with a autozone filter off the shelf that cost 14$. Worked great out at log with how much dust was out there.

Went and watched koh and put the grass in the back and all the kids loved it at one point there was 6 kids back there hanging out.

We’ll have used the bronco a lot and done some minor upgrades. It’s working pretty dam good now the rear is a little Bucky but not bad. Have done a couple day trips to the desert and work weekend trip as well. Bronco has had zero issues. I did a revalve on the front coilovers Wich made the worlds biggest difference. Went from a .012 stack to a .08 stack. I couldn’t drive faster than 5mph on washboard and now I can’t feel the washboard. Very plush.
With the front shocks not as stiff as viagra I was able to replace the windshield finally.
Installed the 5/8 studs into the rear before my Mojave trail trip.
I built a little cargo cage area so I have spots to tie things down.

Just got back from a Mojave road trip left Friday morning the 27th and got home Sunday. Drove the bronco from my house and back home. Started the Mojave trail by Peggy sues diner and camped at about the halfway spot. Only issue I had was my steering box bolts came loose somehow. Took 2min to fix and we were on our way. I got 10mpg throughout the weekend Wich I’m pretty happy about. From rzr road where I filled up to Laughlin pioneer I only used 20gal of gas and I was not being easy on her. The temp never got above 185 stock radiator and fan works great. The Mojave trail is so dam fun
