Off road industry drama

It sounds like toby got caught red handed, high people have been saying it is real, SCORE DQ’ed him & Paul Weel wrote a public statement online!
 
to me it sounds like toby threw his co driver under the bus... dude resigns and toby is just thinking about reassessing his racing? If all was true, he was there, he is like the captain of the ship... he should take more of the heat than the co dog... Also just DQ from 1 race? psh needs to be harsher than that.
 
JFC, grasping for straws much?! He was with the guy, out pre-ruining , just you two guys. And you’re telling me , you didn’t participate, notice or realize your co-bro is putting big rocks out in the course? Just fucking own it , way more respect in the end to just eat the cat poop
 
Morgan has fucked up hard and he’s gonna have a tough time getting out of the situation he’s created.

There is not one happy customer that has left Morgan’s, some that are still there are also not thrilled. He burned that Jo girl from the Midwest on her raptor and tons of cash. He burned Eric and his raptor AND the trans shop from that entire fiasco. Ryan with the velar is almost out too. Ryan’s wife has commented some nasty things on posts regarding Morgan. He also took the “keepin it classic” crew cab ford to get a build. Well it hasn’t had anything done, but completely stripped the truck to a cab and threw it on a chassis table. The owner is NOT thrilled at all.

his name has become so tarnished i dont see how he comes out of this without having to work for another shop. This all reminds me so much of Baker back in the day... He ended up having to close his shop, but stayed in the industry working for someone else.

also wonder how this will strain his Terra relationship... i know they are all close, but this has to be creating some unwanted stress for those guys i would assume. Although if they havent had issues, then it may not be a concern... but seen thier logo on these trucks, would assume might affect sponsors and followers.

100% he always always always worked for someone. Now that he calls the shots, it’s gone downhill FAST. I’ve heard of parts gone missing, parts on other people’s vehicles, etc.

Its eerily similar to Baker, we are so old I doubt many people on this forum know what we are talking about haha.

I can’t speak to the Terra and Morgan thing, although I agree having a person with bad reputation tied to your company isn’t a great look.

But also, Team West is ripping people off left and right, and lawsuits coming his way. All publicly posted about, yet he’s still sponsored by Magnaflow, king, camburg.

I don’t think off-road industry has any backbone anymore. Clout surpasses quality and professionalism these days. Make a cool shirt and cool stickers and you’re on your way to being the next big thing.

Don’t even get me started on people in the industry who have done unforgivable things, yet everyone still praises them. The “go fast” scene is smoked, I really want nothing to do with it these days.
