I had brought that up on another spare tire setup he made where you have to lift the spare up before taking it out. He said that these are bespoke trucks, not race vehicles. The driver will get out, put on gloves, and take their time getting it out.

I can’t speak to the Terra and Morgan thing, although I agree having a person with bad reputation tied to your company isn’t a great look.

But also, Team West is ripping people off left and right, and lawsuits coming his way. All publicly posted about, yet he’s still sponsored by Magnaflow, king, camburg.

I don’t think off-road industry has any backbone anymore. Clout surpasses quality and professionalism these days. Make a cool shirt and cool stickers and you’re on your way to being the next big thing.

Don’t even get me started on people in the industry who have done unforgivable things, yet everyone still praises them. The “go fast” scene is smoked, I really want nothing to do with it these days.

It was pretty funny reading Kibbe clowning on him on IG. Kibbe of all people, who I think had some reputation issues of his own

The scanning was actually done at Morgan’s. I can’t confirm or deny if Weitzel is as well, or if they were left on from Morgan’s.

Kibbe def had some rep issues, I’d say he turned himself around considering what he’s been pushing out lately. Not to mention he just bought some insane Walmart sized building in San Diego.

I really just wanna see Morgan and Kibbe fight.

Does anyone remember when Morgan got fired? There was lots of shit talking on each other, Kibbes crew actually cut out the entire dash that Morgan had just built in one of their trucks. Then a year or so later they kissed and made up at the sand show a few years ago? The posted a novel about growing up and letting drama die…. And then we’re back to them fighting like girls. Kibbe ended up with the raptor that Morgan just caged and fucked up. Those were some good photos

i don't follow all the drama/posts/comments on IG. so i have no idea wtf is happening.
all i knew was Kibbetech seemed like a doucher/all about the sick burnouts and tig welds
and Morgan worked for him,
got fired/let go/whatever happened,
then Morgan started making really cool (looking) stuff all over the place.................

that's where i left off pretty much.

i know nothing else.
i think, at least.

okay so two things....
1. i just realized this is like real houswives of offroad...... and i am all in... damn it drama is fun to pass time. I also dont understand how people do this stuff... doing CD i got so scared someone would be mad at me... The 1 issue we had, i made it right ASAP and went beyond to fix it.

2. Logan, what are the unthinkable things you speak of... we dont need names, but i wanna hear some more drama.

I’ve got drama stories for days 🤣🤣 20 years in the hobby you make a lot of friends and you also meet people that aren’t friends, and those two groups of people always pass info amongst each other.

Let’s just say, the person was so messed up and out of his mind on drugs and alcohol, that some “things accidentally” happened involving a child. It’s known amongst a lot of people, it just doesn’t get talked about.

What happened with CD? I don’t recall anything negative ever about it.

Same, I used to enjoy it. But then the allegations, and then it also started being more art projects than purely functional builds. There was more effort put into "how can we make this swoopy" than what was needed.
 
The fact Morgan hasn’t even really addressed it once publicly is what gets me. Someone who preaches about character and all this other BS unrelated to off road and then does all this. It’s all really weird. His constant little side stories, his attitude of if it’s not done “his way” it’s wrong, the need to be over the top. The weird satanic shit, his wife feeling the need to defend him in random posts, the black emojis (prerunner propaganda or whatever pointed this out last night, honestly kinda funny)

The kid he pretty much taught everything to leaving, kollin, at what seems to be the right time might say something.

gotcha, think i know that.

CD issue wasnt bad. We just did not do a good job managing sponsors, and had 2 similar companies. One got upset that we were promoting another ( i would be upset too as they were a small company and didnt have large budgets to support) i called and smoothed it over with them, and nobody really knew. But i gave back thier donation (but still promoted them as a sponsor),and wrote them a very nice letter and gave them personal money to take entire family out for a very nice dinner. We were all in this for fun, and i wasnt going to loose a friend over money and a misunderstanding. This was the difficult part about having multiple people recruiting sponsors and collecting donations for our events. I want everyone to be happy and not hurt anyones feelings.
