Manual vs Boosted brakes

Bumping this. For a daily driven set up, manual brakes aren't the ideal choice but i would like to get rid of my booster at some point too. I saw Morgan Clarke build a tundra that had some fancy brake set up but he didn’t really go into detail on the setup. Only said that it was good for street use. I understand hydro boost but like what Ryan and Brad V have said, they rather have power steering when needed. I dont understand what “power brakes” are tho.

Power brakes use vacuum from the engine to amplify your braking pressure/force. It's why it's easy to stop your car with the engine running, but the pedal goes firm and doesn't seem to do much when the engine is off.

I bought a Gen1 Bosch i-booster (more compact than Gen2) off of a 18/19 Honda CRV. I started designing a pedal linkage for under the dash, but still running into packaging issues because I have three pedals. Ready to say F-it and run a Tilton pedal assembly. Running a long pedal should help leverage-wise
