Since Logan can’t go a day without thinking about me I’ll add a little update.

Tyler at Arizona Chassis Engineering is getting close to wrapping up the back end of this thing. Deavers, canti-lever set up with 10” ADS bypasses. It’s cycling 17” and will get strapped a tad lower than that. Really excited to get this thing back and get some dirt miles on it this season. I’ll post some more photos when I get it back within the next couple weeks.

Got this thing back this past weekend. Rear is done for now. Might throw bumps on it still, and I need to do a final trim on the fenders. Haven’t had a chance to take it out yet, but driving it down the street it is 1000x better than before. Hoping to get it in the dirt this weekend.

I had a cheap locker in the front of this thing and it broke pretty much immediately. We slapped a spool in it because I didn’t wanna spend the coin on a nice locker. Took the explorer out wheelin on Friday night and my passenger axle decided to be a little bitch and end the party.

Obviously the spool is gunna be harder on axles, so I’d like to go with something stronger. Is the chromoly axle kit from Tom’s off-road Gucci? Or should I go a different route?

Anyone have any D44 shaft recommendations?

Ditch that axle and go d60s. You’ll never break anything in those, especially with the lil 4.0.

This thing is supposed to be a cheap beater trying to avoid going tons to be honest. With my new prerunner build in the works I don’t really wanna throw a bunch more money at this thing right now. I ordered some chromoly shafts last night. We’ll see how they do.

I also need this thing ready for hammers so I can blow your doors off through the whoops again
