Let's see those Bad Lines!

Worst one so far was taking a “shortcut” near chocolate thunder in jv and having the vacuum lines for my 4x4 actuator fall off while going fast. Tried to get 4x4 engaged and really dug myself in

Figured I could add this one to, don’t know exactly when it happen but noticed it the day after a trip to Jean/prim, tore the engine cage off the frame almost all the way around in 4 spots, bolts in the tube connector broke and just let everything cave in towards the engine. Got it fixed up and added some gussets/bump stops along with a full prep on the front end. Ready for the desert or for someone to buy it I’m not sure yet haha

Haha definitely, got this truck in a trade and was built in 2011ish so it’s been beat on for years but still a pretty solid truck. Drives way better after a full prep up front. Still needs a steering box lol

It's a common theme anytime I take her out. First pic is down in Erendida Baja during a 500 and second is at KOH this year while we unloaded our crap

So I was out hunting when I locked up the fm146 trans. in my ranger. I had to call a buddy and he borrowed a SXS to come get us.

A few weeks later, I went to check the snow pack and see if I could even get to the ranger. I ended up getting stuck several times, winched out and then really got stuck. I had to find someone with a dozer to pull my F-350 out and the ranger was way too far away to go pull it out that night.

I ended up leaving the ranger there for 4 months until the snow melted off and I could get in to it in 2wd. Then I pulled it out to the main road where I was able to get to it with a trailer. That was 3 or 4 weeks ago and now it’s all fixed and even got new tires.908BF87D-A111-40B7-A73D-5179A39B3037.jpegFBCA909F-116F-44F1-94B2-64992A6F46AA.jpeg21C833B1-C506-43B2-895A-CF16E5FDF793.jpegD950A11F-B5F8-4511-B9FC-2A8763E22944.jpegAB656AC9-99B7-4406-AD17-7C04318DA966.jpegAF992514-62E2-478A-8054-6AABDB039304.jpegA90C9C75-21FA-4331-8C07-1673C6555429.jpegB73E9421-8705-4C70-ADF8-FC414CE99068.jpegDB1D10AF-5A62-4110-A9AE-D7D6BBD0F412.jpegE7A1F5DD-E407-4FA0-BD02-83E02383756B.jpeg47DF0986-05D3-4546-8FEE-9FDB62425851.jpeg

Not going to lie... that looked scary. Getting stuck out there with that much snow. Did you have to hike or anything for cell signal?

It wasn’t bad, only about 2.5 miles back to where most people would turn around. If my buddy couldn’t make it, I would have had to carry my daughter out to there so the wife could come get us. I didn’t have to go anywhere for cell service, I lucked out there. My buddy only had to go 1/4 mile or so through fresh snow, to hit my tracks because he came in from another direction. Now I feel pretty confident in my rig so I’m gonna do it more next year.
