Is anyone a dealership GM tech or dealership parts person?

Years ago I was lazy and not patient enough when replacing my driver side window regulator in my 2007 Silverado classic (gmt800) and I broke the lever / disconnect on the window, door lock and mirror control plug inside the door card.

So for ever I have tried to zip tie, glue etc the plug into the socket so it doesn’t fall out and every 18 months or so I have to take the door card off and rig the plug back and it’s always during wet weather when the window won’t go back up because the connection has come to loose.

Long story short, I want to replace the door wire harness or find a plug and cut it off and re solder the wires together or if it can be depinned maybe go that direction. Looking for the parts vs buying a door at the junk yard and tearing into it. Can anyone help?

I’m not sure about GM, but I do know ford sells connector ends for this kind of scenario. That absolutely doesn’t help you, I know. Maybe just find a trashed door on a junk yard truck and cut the connection off? If the plastic isn’t too brittle you should be able to remove each spade with a pick and just transfer it to your existing harness

i got some ideas off a facebook page for the cateye chevy trucks. One guy posted about connectorexperts.com and that looks very promising if i ever need to replace the connector.

I ended up ziptieing the connector in place and it seemed very solid this time so i am contenct i "fixed" it
