Help me with tire choice please

Ok, so im nearing the end of my sas on my 1988 toyota pickup with a stock 22re and i'm wanting to move up to a 35in tire. i'm also going with a 17in bead grip so i can later move onto 37s. Im asking for help here because a lot of the info online is directed towards overlanders and i want something that's still going to be capable in the rocks as well as handle snow and rain (i'm moving to washington in a few months) and I trust yall alot more. I also don't want a super wide tire mainly because I don't have hydro assist and i think wide tires look goofy I'm thinking something like a 35 /10.5 x 17 idk let me know if i'm smoking crack or not lol any wisdom is appreciated thanks

I just put some Maxxis Razr ATs on my power wagon, I went with a 37/12.5. I know they have a 35/11.5/17 size in those. Very reasonably priced tires

Another good size option would be a 285/75/17 as it’s a 34” tire, or a 295 as they are also in the 34” realm but not too wide

i've heard of those going to look into them, 11.5 doesn't seem too bad especially if the wet performance is good.

lol thanks but no the truck isn’t gonna be geared well for 37s since I’m running 4.88

These may or may not balance out that great. But these are a dam strong tire with 3PMS rating and the most aggressive A/T out there right now. Also, available in 255/85r17 aka 35x10r17.
