Ditch Loop Trail Work

With longer daylight hours here, who wants to come out for some no dig session laps? Best way for me to figure out what is working or not is to see people hit it.
 
Picked up this big boy trimmer brush cutter as my Homelite died.
Great news, it has a big 18" cutting circle and will probably run .155 twine. The bad news, it is to big and heavy to ride in so I still need to hike it in.

Oh, she eats...
Did a bunch with both the 10" brush cutter Chinese Star thing and with 0.155 line crammed in the head. The 0.155 will not bump feed, but it lasts such a long time through grass and mustard it isn't even funny. I have to pause to let it cool down way more than I have to feed more line. Only had a few line breaks using line as a brush cutter.
The metal brush cutter is awesome for taking the front off the bushes on the edge of the trail, but is less effective on grass / mustard due to the smaller cutting circle. I hit dirt and rocks way less than I thought I was going to.
 
Ditch climb is opened to the top between Bob and myself. Bob also opened up the section that I built the bypass / switch backs around. The ruts I had issue with somewhat have filled in. Bob also started down Ditch DH brush cutting but I don't know how far he got. I will head up today and probably finish Ditch DH and get into Riddler's Revenge.
 
Getting back at it now that we got moisture. We added a short new up line mid trail. You can now pedal current bottom to top. We put in a small rock garden (The KMET Rockers), built the step down to over jump the A line, got half the A line bench cut for the newest section. We should have it bench cut back to where the hard line will step up over it.

So close to being down to where I can start mapping out the last section to the bottom. I have a few ideas I need to figure out how to make happen in that area once I get there.

Adding a 3rd short option line in the section I am building now. Not as extensive as the other two options which turn it into a completely different trail experience.

Looking down trail at the double after the berm @dwphoto helped stack. You can also see the most recent and oddest trail artifact found so far. An above ground pool ladder that just happened to be right where we were digging for the berm.

I am really digging this "wrong way" hip now that we knocked the corner off the table top.
 
Crazy is that double, or at least the landing feels too small now.
I want to set up a Saturday ride party on the trail in the near future. Grill some dogs, bucket of beers, and party laps. Maybe May31. I will keep people updated. I have some work to do to get the trail further down the line before then.

New feature(s)
Left hip or straight into a berm / shark fin.
The hope is the shark fin will put you real close to inline of the hip landing bottom.
We have another line that will be starting skipping the berm before this one and into what should be a straight rhythm section.
We will see how the line off the pictured mixes into the other further down the trail.
