Huh.
Group has decided to do a pretty much whole different route, but maybe I'll check it out.
Headed down a couple of days early with the GF to do some exploring and fish on our own.

Trip was a good time.
Left Mazanar 1100 Saturday morning, went to Reward Mine than headed up and over Mazarouka to 168 where we pitched camp.
Got going about 1000 Sunday for a "quick" day to Silver Canyon where we promptly ran into snow just deep and slushy enough to slow us to a crawl. After a few hours of breaking trail we got into Bishop about 5pm. Fueled up and ran across lava fields to gain some elevation and camp.
Next morning we headed out with hopes of making it to Mammoth but realizing it might not be possible. Got to Benton Crossing road about noon and pretty much everyone decided they wanted to start the 3+ hour drive home.
GF and I headed to Convict lake (never been) and than got a room in Bishop for the night. All in all everyone had a blast and plan on doing some trips down this way.
Thanks for all the insight. If you guys ever make it up to Con/Fordyce or other trails up here first ones on me.
