Dad's class 7 Nissan

Hey guys, last year I was searching around and trying to track down my Dad's old Nissan. I was able to track it down all the way to a Lucas race in AZ in 2014. He did a few races between 90'-93', mainly SNORE. I have a few photos of it fresh and at the 93' Caliente 250 along with the most recent photos from 2014...it looks like shit. Does anyone know where it ended up?

Very cool. Good luck on the hunt! I see the Stanley's decal on one of the photos. I worked on the same block at Pre-By-Jake and JR would help my truck also. JR runs Coast powder coat in San Clemente now. Call him up and he may have something to go on. Get your C.S.I. flowing and see what stickers are on the photos.

Byma Motorsports ran a Nissan back in the day before i used to help them out in the pits that looks very similar. let me see if i can get pictures.

Almost positive this truck was on Craigslist/marketplace in either Tucson or Phoenix at one point some years back

I managed to find some info that the Wardrips had it for some short course racing here in CA, the next owner was Dezertracer417 on IG. We'll see if I can get anymore info but from what I understand, the truck was wrecked in 2025. Here are some recent photos, truck is in bad shape. I'm suprised it was kicking along this whole time and I've probably seen it race at Glen Helen without even knowing it was in front of me.

I found it, current owner has gone through the truck and re-did the tube work and painted it. He is going to be racing it in June at Glen Helen, here are some photos of how it sits 30 years later!

That Budweiser paint job reminds me of when I was a kid so much. I had plastic models I built of both Mears Nissan and Ivan's Toyota. I remember watching them on TV on Sundays. Rad to see it survived.
