Anyone into car audio stuff? I have had speakers for like 10 years sitting in my closet that my wife got me for Xmas I want to finally install in my daily driver silverado.

Looking to do basic stuff, new head unit w/ apple car play and install 4 door speakers I have already.

Anyone interested in doing it or have a recommendation near Temecula?

its pretty easy bud. just pop off door panels and 4 screws and install for the speakers.

head unit is just connecting like 12 wires.

Now getting it to sound good? I still havent figured that part out.

Like Adam said, its pretty easy. I watched a youtube video on how to pull the door panels on my superduty (so I didnt break anything trying to get them off) and bought the plug-n-play adaper thingys for the speakers on amazon for $10. Start to finish took me about 35 minutes for both doors/speakers. The head unit was more of a PITA. Wiring the harness and getting into the dash took a couple of hours start to finish.

im lazy, its hot and I AM LAZY! I know its not a much of work but i think the speakers Erica got me for Christmas 9 years ago may not exactly fit either i dont recall but i think they need to have the connections soldered on or some shit. ive taken the door panels off to replace the window regulators but i also broke shit cause im in a hurry, just a hack and have zero patience haha

I have some other shit i dont wanna do to my truck too but will probably give it a go unless someone wants to come "help"

I cant guarantee i wont break clips either. lol you are more than welcome to do it at my house while i talk shit and complain about not wanting to do the AC in my truck because its hot and i dont wanna work on it.

Realistically i would totally be down to help, but it just means i am not spending time on the parts i have collecting dust in my garage rigth now.

but you did inspire me to look online for stuff and its cheap, all kinds of wiring adapters and spending the $1000+ ive been quotes by audio shops does just seem stupid

You should 100% make Tyler do it. will teach him how to do shit, and then you get to yell... win win.
and $1,000 jesus thats crazy. I like to do those jobs on my own so I feel accomplished and know i saved myself $1,000. Just painted my whole fence sand saved almost $1,200. Sucked doing it, but glad i didnt waste money.
