Do any of you ride enduros? Maybe live close to Temecula/Murrieta?

I am looking to get a bike again (2025 KTM 500EXC or a 2025 Honda CRF300Rally) and want some people to ride with. Maybe do some BDR trails? I am just a 40 year old cruiser...want something different when the prerunner is down for maintenance.

you know you wanna go to san felipe and play in the mud flats again!!

I havent ridden my dirtbike since my Achilles issue in july 2023, i actually "gave" it to tyler but hes having back surgery monday and will probabaly never ride again after that.

Sad day getting rid of the bikes persay, but i have wanted a Dual Sport for a while. Jonny has a crf450L, Dave has his Dual sport KTM i think, Dustin has a KTM dual sport too.

Ha ha right!? Then slamming Consuelo Bowls and riding hammered! Then riding home in the dark without headlights and almost smashing into the parked car in the middle of the road! Good Times Bad Lines LOL

I haven't "actually" rideen since I was like 25....oof. Ouweee! Poor Tyler!

Yeah I just want to do trail sides not necessarily desert. Something different. I went to Colorado and rode a bunch of BDR trails and it was amazing!

I’m game. I’m old and slow on a slow bike. Got a 250 rally. You’ll hate it if you don’t do suspension work to it unless the bdr stuff is mellow dirt roads.
I’m still not sure if I like this bike or not. It definitely ain’t a desert bike, but I try to treat it like one. Reliability and low maintenance are good though.

Ha ha nice! My brother has a Honda CRF300 Rally and loves it. He lives in Colorado and I go out there and rent a bike and ride with him once a year; super fun! But I always rented a KTM500 EXC....I think I rather have a mellower bike.

I plan to get one soon. Kinda waiting on people to ride with first.

As lame as it might sound, if youre looking for a mellow (aka short an underpowered) bike, I vote TW200! Things are a blast and theyll run damn near all day on a tank of gas. As long as youre 5' 2" or taller youll be able to man-handle the thing. The only drawback (IMO) is that 55mph will take a while AND inside engine parts sound like theyre going to become outside engine parts at that speed.

Or, buy my 650R. Its a big ol' desert couch.

you should never sell the 650.
