Anyone know who built this Nissan Hardbody?

Anyone know who built this truck and/or the front kit? Or does anyone recognize the ball joints? My little brother recently bought this for his first truck. I’m a dumbass and talked him into getting a pre runner. I’ve been going through it with him and getting it ready to be his highschool daily/toy. It has a decent one off front kit on it, but we can’t find replacement ball joints for the life of us. We’ve checked multiple different suppliers and manufacturers, and they are not factory to this truck. I’ve looked up other similar trucks’ factory ball joints and none of them look to be it.

Similar style, but the bolt hole spread looks quite a bit different to me. I’ll check with the local parts store and see if they can get some in so I can compare.

I looked them up. The bolt spread is clearly very different

I have not checked older Nissans. That one actually looks pretty similar. I’ll see if we can get one in and compare. Thanks man

Rock auto is great to search because it has photos and It's only $5. to double check.

The truck was built by Kevin Brown, he had a shop in Santee CA called KB Designs. He built it for my buddy Casey in 2003-2004 ish. I still talk to Kevin all the time, he mostly did minitrucks but built a handfull of offroad trucks around that time. Lower balljoints should be Nissan 720 mid 80s
